The Mountain Wizard is an eccentric old sorcerer who's more likely to grumble about the state of his long, white beard than to cast a spell with a smile. This cranky conjurer spends his days wandering through the misty peaks, muttering to himself about the younger generation's lack of appreciation for quality potions.
Legend has it that the Mountain Wizard never intended to be a magical inventor. In fact, most of his great inventions were happy accidents that occurred when he was trying to brew a simple cup of tea or conjure a cozy blanket to fend off the chilly mountain winds.
He has an exceptional range of spells in his library – his spell books contain spells with the ability to create gifts, and music, as well as transporting residents of the elven fairy kingdom to places of beauty and peace in the mountains. Despite his gruff exterior he is an exceptionally kind hearted wizard – wanting to spread joy to all he meets.
The Elven Fairy Queen met the Mountain Wizard one day when she was enjoying the music of the Forest Minstrel, and the Mountain Wizard was also listening. As the Queen got to know him better, she wanted to repay his kindness to the kingdom by creating a blend that would refresh the Wizard as he spread his kindness.
